The sun is shining, come on get happy :) Das muss man mir echt nicht zweimal sagen... das Wetter ist die letzten Tage so wundervoll geworden, da macht es mir nicht mal was aus, dass ich noch ein paar Tage lernen muss bevor die Prüfungsphase dann endlich zu Ende ist ;) Passend zum Wetter habe ich mir diese neue Blümchen Bluse gekauft, die ich jetzt schon absolut vergöttere. Denn es ist wirklich nicht einfach mich in eine Hose zu kriegen, denn normal trag ich hauptsächlich Kleider und Röcke, aber auch ich habe Tage, an denen ich es einfach etwas bequemer mag und da kommt mir diese Bluse gerade Recht :) Denn die Bluse ist die perfekte Mischung aus girly und casual und damit genau das was ich an solchen Tagen brauch ;)

I mean the weather has been so stunning the last few days that I don't even care that I still have to study until tuesday ;) Because of the beautiful almost-spring-like weather I decided to buy this beautiful floral blouse and I already adore it like crazy. Since it's usually really difficult to get me to wear pants, but there are still days when I just don't wanna go for a dress or a skirt, this blouse is just perfect. It's the right amount of girly and casual to get me through one of those days :)

[Blogvorstellung] A big thing or a small the winner takes it all

Meine Blogvorstellung ist am Montag zu Ende gegangen und ich wollte euch die drei Gewinner nun vorstellen. Zuerst einmal die liebe Nee von Rosecandle11, deren Blog ich nun schon seit Ewigkeiten sehr gerne lese :) Eigentlich hat sie es nicht mehr nötig vorgestellt zu werden, denn ihr Blog ist auch so ein ziemlicher Erfolg, aber da sie eine von meinen ältesten und liebsten Leserinnen ist und ich ihren Blog persönlich so gerne lese, wollte ich sie hier nicht außen vor lassen ;) Auf ihrem Blog geht es vorallem um Mode und zwar sehr sehr schöne Mode, aber auch um persönliche Sachen und Reisen - also eigentlich wie bei mir nur 1000 mal besser ♥

My blog presentation ended on monday so I wanted to show you the winners that I picked. First of all, the lovely Nee from Rosecandle11, whose blog I've been reading like forever :) She doesn't actually need to be presented anymore, because her blog is a huge success already, but since she's one of my oldest and sweetest readers I didn't want to leave her out of this ;) Her blog is mostly about fashion, but also about personal things and travelling - basically a lot like mine, just a thousand times better ♥

Dann einen Blog, den ich erst durch diese Blogvorstellung kennengelernt hab, nämlich den von Kathi. Auf ihrem Blog glüxkind schreibt sie sehr viel über Beauty Produkte, aber vorallem auch wunderschöne Texte, die mich immer wieder aufs neue inspirieren :) Bis heute läuft auch noch ihr Gewinnspiel, also macht noch schnell alle mit ;)

The second blog I'd like to show you guys, is one that I actually really only got to know due to this blog presentation. Elena from the beautiful blog sometimes fabulous is one my most faithful readers and I love reading her blog, too :) I don't think that she has the amount of readers yet that I believe she deserves that's why I would love for you guys to visit her blog :) She takes the most beautiful pictures, shows stunning outfits and lets you know what her favorite recipes are. 


Da nicht genügend Leute mitgemacht haben, damit ich den H&M Gutschein verlose, habe ich mir was neues überlegt. Nachdem ja doch einige von euch von der Goodie Bag von der LB Films Party begeistert waren, werde ich nun diese verlosen. [OOTD] It's not where you come from, it's where you belong

Heute zeig ich euch anlässlich meiner "Berlin" Woche, was ich auf der Feier von LB Films getragen hab. Im Nachhinein waren wir alle drei etwas underdressed, aber es gab zum Glück trotzdem genügend Leute, die auch nicht über sexy oder über chic gekleidet waren und so sind wir nicht negativ aufgefallen ;) Mein Outfit war etwas "Belles"-inspired falls ihr wisst was ich meine ;) Diesmal nicht ganz so Zoe Hart, sondern mehr Lemon Breeland, aber auch das muss mal sein :D Ich liebe das Kleid aber total und werde es denk ich in meiner Freizeit auch noch oft genug tragen können.

Today I would like to show you what I wore to the LB films party in Berlin. I have to admit that all three of us were a little underdressed, but thankfully there were a lot of other people who also didn't show up overly sexy or elegant so we got in without people staring at us ;) My outfit was a little "Belles"-inspired if you know what I mean ;) Not so Zoe Hart this time, more Lemon Breeland, but everyone needs to be a little Lemonade every once in a while :D I totally love my dress though and can't wait to wear it again!

Außerdem wollte ich euch wissen lassen, dass es 'Kiss From a Rose' nun auch auf Facebook gibt und ich würde mich sehr freuen wenn die/der eine oder andere von euch meine Seite liked :)

10 Tage! So lang muss ich noch warten bis ich Taylor Swift endlich live auf der Bühne erleben darf :) Ich freue mich jetzt schon so rießig drauf und passend zur Red Tour ist mein Outfit heute der Farbe rot gewidmet. Naja eigentlich überwiegt schwarz, aber ich liebe den roten Rock, der einen tollen Akzent setzt. Wird noch jemand von euch nächsten Freitag live in Berlin beim Taylor Swift Konzert dabei sein?

10 days! That's how long I still have to wait until I get to see Taylor Swift live :) I'm so excited already and since it's the Red Tour I decided to dedicate my outfit to the color red today. Well actually there's a whole lot of black in it, but I love the statement that the red skirt makes. Is anyone else going to the Taylor Swift concert next friday?

[Haul] I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game

Nachdem ich recht lange nicht mehr wirklich shoppen war, hab ich mir vor zwei Wochen mal wieder einen kleinen Ausflug in die Stadt gegönnt. Irgendwie hab ichs dann nicht mal durch die Hälfte aller Läden geschafft, in die ich wollte, weil ich wirklich in jedem Laden irgendwas gefunden hab und mein Budget dann leider schon erschöpft war ;)

Since I hadn't really bought anything in a while, I decided to go shopping again about two weeks. Somehow I ended up only visiting about half the shops I wanted to, because I found amazing stuff everywhere and then all my money was already used up ;)

Die Schuhe, den blauen Blazer und den gestreiften Rock kennt ihr schon aus meinem letzten OOTD und den roten Rock habe ich auch schon für ein OOTD fotografiert, das ich dann die nächsten Tage hochladen werde. Mein Überraschungskauf war das Kleid, denn es ist von Pimkie! Ich glaube ich habe seit der achten Klassen nichts mehr dort gekauft, aber ich wurde echt positiv überrascht und das Kleid hatte ich letzte Woche schon auf einem Geburtstag an und habe einige Komplimente dafür bekommen ;) Wie findet ihr die Teile, die ich gefunden hab?

You probably already know the blazer, the striped skirt and the shoes since I wore those in my last OOTD and I have also already worn the red skirt in an OOTD that I just haven't uploaded yet. The one thing that I was most suprised by was the dress, since I found that in a shop where I hadn't found anything since like 8th grade and  I'm totally in love with it! Do you like the things I found?

[OOTD] A tiger in a cage can never see the sun

Am Sonntag war ich mit meinen Eltern und meinem jüngsten Bruder Sushi essen und dabei hatte ich dieses Outfit an. Die blaue Jacke, die Schuhe und der Rock befinden sich seit letzter Woche in meinem Kleiderschrank und die Kette und die Bluse habe ich mir in Amerika gekauft. Auch bei diesem Outfit trage ich wieder eine Statement Kette, diesmal etwas schicker als beim letzten mal. Wie gefällt euch mein Outfit?

I went out for lunch with my parents and my youngest brother on sunday and this is what it wore. I bought the blue jacket, the shoes and the skirt last week and the necklace and the shirt are souvenirs of my summer in the United States. This outfit includes a statement necklace again, but this time a lot fancier than the last one. How do you like my outfit?

[TV Fashion] So if the chain is on your door I understand

Nur Larissa schafft es ein orange-pinkes Outfit mit lila Lidschatten zu kombinieren und dabei großartig auszusehen... und dieser Ring! // Little Miss Carrie Bradshaw hatte in den 80ern wesentlich mehr Stil als dann später zu Mr. Big Zeiten... Ich liebe dieses Kleid :)

I have to give it to Larissa for being able to pull off a pink and orange outfit with purple eyeshadow... and omg look at that ring! // Little Miss Carrie Bradshaw had much better taste in the 80s than later when Mr Big showed up... I am in love with this dress :)

Leider waren weder Hart of Dixie noch Pretty Little Liars diese Woche fashion-mäßig vorne mit dabei, aber Zoe's erstes Outfit fand ich gar nicht mal so schlecht // Hanna hatte diese Woche das einzig wirklich großartige Outfit an, auch wenn es leider schwierig war ein vernünftiges Foto davon zu machen... das Kleid ist einfach bezaubernd

Neither Hart of Dixie nor Pretty Little Liars were very interesting this week - of course only fashion-wise - but Zoe's first outfit was kinda cute // Out of all of the liars Hanna was the only one whose outfit I loved this week... that dress is simply beautiful 

Victoria zeigt wie man sich dem Alter entsprechend kleiden und dabei absolut makellos aussehen kann // Da Emily gerade in mehr Bademänteln als Kleidern rumrennt, musste ihre kleine Schwester übernehmen und trug dieses unglaublich tolle Kleid mit einer Clutch, die ich ihr am liebsten durch den Bildschirm geklaut hätte // Margaux ist eigentlich immer sehr schlicht aber zeitlos gekleidet und was kann man in einem süßen kleinen roten Kleid auch großartig falsch machen?!

Victoria sure knows how to dress age-appropriate and at the same time flawless // Since Emily is currently running around in more bathrobes than dresses, her little sister had to take over and stunned me with this incredibly cute dress and that amazing clutch that I need like right now! // Margaux's style is very simple but what could go wrong in a red dress?!

[OOTD] Little darling it's been a long cold lonely winter

In meinem letzten Post habe ich euch meine neue Statement Kette gezeigt, die ich von meiner Schwester und ihrem Freund geschenkt bekommen hab. Ich wurde daraufhin gefragt ob ich mal zeigen könnte, wie man eine Statement Kette tragen kann. Dieses Outfit ist sehr schlicht gehalten, damit die Kette wirklich im Mittelpunkt steht. Normalerweise trage ich jedoch solche Ketten auch zu ausgefalleneren Outfits und deshalb denke ich, dass ihr in nächster Zeit noch mehr Outfits mit dieser (oder anderen) Statement Ketten sehen werdet.

In my last post I showed you the statement necklace that my sister and her boyfriend got for me and I was then asked if I could show how I wear statement necklaces. This outfit is a very basic everday look that really lets the necklace shine and that I would usually wear to college or on a very casual afternoon with friends. However, I love dressing everything up a little more usually, so more looks featuring this (and other) statement necklaces will follow soon, so stay tuned ;)

Das gute an diesem eher milden Winter in Deutschland ist ja, dass man kein schlechtes Gewissen haben muss, wenn man seinen dicksten Mantel und den Wollpullover daheim lässt und lieber im Kleidchen aus dem Haus geht. Das kommt mir gerade recht, da mein liebstes Kleidungsstück zurzeit dieses süße Kleid von Stella Morgan ist. Wie geht ihr mit dem milden Wetter zurzeit um? Bleiben die dicken Pullis im Schrank oder zieht ihr sie trotzdem an?

Since the winter doesn't really seem to want to come to Germany this year, I at least don't have to worry about wearing big coats and wool sweaters. I'm therefore currently obsessed with this cute dress by Stella Morgan and can actually already wear it even though it's still January. How is the weather in your country at the moment and how are you coping with it fashionwise?

An dieser Stelle muss ich mal einen kleinen Musiktipp loswerden: Der Titel dieses Posts ist (wie immer) aus einem Lied und dieses Mal stammt das Lied von Lea Michele (die ihr vielleicht aus Glee kennt) und heißt "Battlefield". Nachdem mich ihre erste Single "Canonball" etwas enttäuscht hat, muss ich sagen, dass ihre zweite Single bei mir hoch und runterläuft :)

Nein so war unser Halloween Kostüm eigentlich nicht geplant :D Wir sollten eigentlich als die Spice Girls gehen, aber leider sind spontan zwei von uns abgesprungen und letztlich sahen wir dann eher aus wie zwei Prostituierte und deren Zuhälterin... für den Fall, dass ihrs nicht erkannt habt: wir sollten Ginger, Scary und Posh darstellen :D Einige von euch werden sich wahrscheinlich auch fragen wieso wir nicht gruselig verkleidet waren. Das lag daran, dass ich in Amerika aufgewachsen bin und dort gehts an Halloween eher darum sich überhaupt zu verkleiden (da die dort ja keinen richtigen Fasching haben) und deshalb haben wir uns dann für dieses Kostüm anstatt für ein gruseliges entschieden ;) Als was habt ihr euch verkleidet?

Yeah you could call it a halloween costume gone wrong :D We were supposed to go as the spice girls, but two girls spontaneously decided to stay at home so we looked more like two prostitutes and their pimp... in case you didn't guess: we were supposed to be ginger, scary and posh :D Some of you might be surprised about our not-scary costume. We decided not to dress up as vampires or witches, because I remember from my childhood in the United States that we never dressed up as scary things on Halloween but just as anything we wanted to ;) What did you guys dress up as?

[TV Fashion] Cause we are living in a material world and I am a material girl

Ich bin verliebt! Nein nicht in die Carrie Tasche - auch wenn die natürlich auch absolut fantastisch ist - sondern in dieses Kleid, das AnnaSophia Robb in der ersten Folge der zweiten Staffel von The Carrie Diaries trägt. Die ganze Folge über war mein einziger Gedanke: ich brauche dieses Kleid! Also hab ich natürlich direkt danach gegoogelt wo man das Kleid herbekommt und voilà...

I'm in love! No, not with the amazing Carrie bag, but with the dress that AnnaSophia Robb is wearing in the first episode of the second season of the The Carrie Diaries. Throughout the whole episode I couldn't stop thinking that all I wanted was that beautiful dress. So after the show was over, I googled where I could get it from and voilà...

... ich habs dann auch gefunden. Leider ist es in absolut jedem Online-Shop, der nach Deutschland oder Amerika liefert, ausverkauft :( Nicht, dass ichs mir überhaupt zurzeit leisten könnte, aber so als Weihnachtsgeschenk wäre es ja schon ganz schön gewesen :D Ich werde jetzt einfach trotzdem weiterhin hoffen, dass es irgendwann wieder verfügbar ist und ich es mir auch irgendwann leisten kann. Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden... Das beste an der Folge insgesamt war jedoch nicht das Kleid oder die Folge an sich - die meiner Meinung nach die beste bisher war - sondern Samantha! Hätte man irgendjemand perfekteres für Samantha finden können?!! Ich denke nicht!

... I found it! Sadly, it's sold out in every single online-shop that ships clothes to Germany or the United States :( Not that I could afford it right now, but it would have been a nice christmas present or something :D I'm just gonna keep hoping that it'll be available at some point again and that I can afford then. I'll keep you up to date... However, the best part about this episode was not the dress or the episode itself, which I though was the best so far, but Samantha! Could they have found anyone more perfect for the role of Samantha??!! I don't think so!

[OOTD] I was looking for a breath of life, a little touch of heavenly light

Der Herbst ist schwierig... Wenn man in der Früh aus dem Haus geht ist es noch ziemlich frisch und man würde sich am liebsten in einen dicken Pulli kuscheln. Mittags bereut man den dicken Pulli dann aber doch, da es plötzlich wieder fast 20°C draußen hat. Deshalb seht ihr hier, was ich vor ein paar Tagen anhatte um dem Wetter gerecht zu werden. Der Schal hat mich frühs davor bewahrt zu frieren und gegen Mittag bin ich dann eigentlich auch ohne Blazer rumgelaufen. Wie trotzt ihr dem Wetter - mit einem ähnlichen Look oder ganz anders?

Fall can be a tough time... In the mornings it's still pretty chilly and I would love to cuddle up in a nice and warm sweater. However, I usually regret the sweater around lunchtime when the sun finally comes out and the temperature outside rises. I therefore wore this outfit a few days ago. The scarf kept me warm when I left the house and in the afternoon I took the blazer and the scarf off and had a nice early fall outfit. How do you guys cope with the weather - with a similar look like mine or entirely different?
