[Travel] California here we come right back where we started from

Von meiner ersten Woche in LA hatte ich ja bereits berichtet, nun folgt hier der zweite Teil. An meinem zweiten Wochenende in LA fanden die Teen Choice Awards statt  und als Hardcore Glee und Pretty Little Liars Fan musste ich natürlich dabei sein ;) Falls ihr überhaupt nicht promi-interessiert seid dann überspringt den folgenden Teil einfach :D

I already told you about my first week in LA and this is now the second part. The Teen Choice Awards took place during my second weekend in LA and as a hardcore Glee and Pretty Little Liars fan I had to buy a ticket. If you're not interested in celebrities at all, it would be best if you just skipped the next part :D

OMG wo soll ich nur anfangen?! Wahrscheinlich am besten mit dem ersten Foto. Bevor die Show überhaupt angefangen hatte hab ich eine Horde Mädels gesehen, die um einen jungen Typen rumstanden und als ich gecheckt hab wer er ist bin ich vielleicht ein kleines bisschen ausgeflippt :D Der Typ war Brendan Robinson, der Lucas bei Pretty Little Liars spielt! Er war echt unglaublich nett und ich konnte mich sogar kurz mit ihm unterhalten und dann hat er auch noch ein Foto mit mir gemacht :D Haha oh Gott ich sollte aufhören so ein Fangirl zu sein, ich bin schließlich nicht mehr 13 :D Also zurück zum eigentlichen Geschehen... okay nein das geht grad auch noch nicht, denn das nächste Foto zeigt One Direction :D Ja ich gebe es zu, ich bin 21 und liebe die Musik von One Direction und ja ihr dürft mich gerne deswegen verarschen ;) Der eigentliche Grund wieso ich aber $150 für die Karte ausgegeben hab, war, dass ich unbedingt die Schauspieler aus Glee und Pretty Little Liars sehen wollte und ich wurde zum Glück nicht enttäuscht. Die Liars waren wirklich alle da und dann kam Lea Michele auch noch das erste Mal nach Cory Monteiths Tod auf die Bühne und ja der ganze Saal hat geheult und ich wahrscheinlich am allermeisten. Die Show wurde auch noch von Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) und Darren Criss (Glee) moderiert also hab ich mein Geld wirklich gut angelegt ;) Natürlich will ich euch auch nicht vorenthalten was ich zu diesem besonderen Anlass getragen habe und es ist dasselbe Kleid, das ich auch nächsten Freitag zum Taylor Swift Konzert anziehen werde.

OMG where should I start?! Probably the first picture. So before the show even started I saw a bunch of girls standing around a young guy and when I realized who it was I freaked out :D It was Brendan Robinson, who plays Lucas on Pretty Little Liars. So I ended up talking to him and he was kind enough to take a picture with me and oh my he was really sweet :D Okay I have to end the fangirling :D Back to business... Okay not really possible when the second picture shows One Direction :D So yeah I'll admit it I love their music. But the actual reasons why I spent $150 on the ticket was that I wanted to see the cast of Pretty Little Liars and Glee and I was not disappointed. All my favorite Liars were there and then Lea Michele made her first public appearance after Cory Monteith's death and yes everyone was crying including myself. The show was also hosted by two of my favorite people Lucy Hale (PLL) and Darren Criss (Glee) so yes it was worth every penny. And of course you want to know what I wore to that special occasion and it's the same dress that I'll be wearing to the Taylor Swift Concert next friday ;)

Am nächsten Abend wollten wir uns den Sonnenuntergang anschauen und dafür gibt es in LA wirklich keinen schöneren Ort als das Griffith Observatory (nein nicht mal den Strand, denn um den schönsten Sonnenuntergang am Strand zu erleben müsst ihr runter nach San Diego fahren, aber dazu später mehr ;) ). Von hier aus hat man den schönsten Blick auf die ganze Stadt und natürlich auch auf das Hollywood Sign. Das Planetarium drinnen fand ich nicht sooo spannend, aber da der Eintritt kostenlos ist, lohnt es sich schon mal reinzuschauen.

The next evening we decided to watch the sunset and there is really no better place in LA (not even the beach, you have to go to San Diego to get to most stunning beach sunset but I'll talk about that a little later on) than the Griffith Observatory. You get the most amazing view of the whole city from here and of course also of the Hollywood sign. The planetarium inside didn't wow me as much, but since it's free you should definitly at least walk in.

Eine Sache, die in unbedingt in LA machen wollte, war mal wieder zu einem Baseball Spiel zu gehen. Während meiner Kindheit in den USA war ich ein rießen Baltimore Orioles Fan und war auch mit meinen Eltern einmal im Stadion bei einem Spiel dabei. Dieses Mal durfte ich dann in LA meiner zweit Lieblings Mannschaft den LA Dodgers bei einem Spiel zuschauen und es war einfach ein unglaublich tolles Erlebnis. Das Stadion in LA ist auch immer voll mit Promis, also wenn ihr Glück habt sitzt ihr plötzlich neben eurem Lieblingsschauspieler ;)

One of the things that I was personally really exited about was that I got to the see a Dodgers baseball game. During my childhood in Pennsylvania I loved baseball so much and even got to see my favorite team ever - the Baltimore Orioles - play. So now going back into a baseball stadium and seeing my second favorite team play was such an amazing experience. Also, the stadium is always full of celebrities so if you're lucky you might end up sitting next to your favorite actor or singer.

Nach dem Baseball Spiel haben wir dann noch einen kleinen Stopp bei Diddy Riese in Westwood eingelegt, um uns eins der absolut großartigsten - und günstigsten - Ice Cream Sandwiches zu kaufen. Leider liebt diese jeder in Westwood und deswegen darf man sich schon mal eine halbe Stunde vorm Laden anstellen um eins zu kaufen, aber die sind es definitiv wert ;)

After the baseball game we headed to Diddy Riese in Westwood, which serves the best - and cheapest - ice cream sandwiches I've ever had! Since everyone in Westwood knows how great they are, you usually have to wait about half an hour to get into the store, but it's totally worth the wait ;) 

LA Tipps: 

#7 Award Shows
Natürlich sind Award Shows nicht sonderlich günstig, aber gerade wenn man so promi-fanatisch ist wie ich, dann sollte man sich so ein Event nicht entgehen lassen. Die Haupt Awardshow Zeit ist eigentlich jetzt gerade im Januar und Februar, aber es gibt auch weitere wichtige Shows, die erst später im Jahr stattfinden z.B. die Emmys oder die Teen Choice Awards.

Well yes they're usually expensive, but especially if you're a celebrity addict like I am you have to get tickets to an award show in LA. The main award show season is actually right now in January and February, but there are also important ones like the Emmys or the Teen Choice Awards that take place later on during the year.

#8 Griffith Observatory
Der perfekte Zeitpunkt um zum Griffith Observatory zu fahren ist kurz bevor die Sonne anfängt unterzugehen. So kriegt man noch tolle Bilder während die Sonne scheint, aber dann direkt auch mit dem Sonnenuntergang und dann in der kompletten Dunkelheit. Seid nicht zu spät oder zu früh dran, ihr werdet es nur bereuen ;)

You have to get there right before the sun starts to set, so you can take pictures while the sun is still shining, then while it's setting and then when it's actually really dark. Don't show up too soon or too late - you'll only regret it ;)

#9 LA Dodgers
Falls ihr Sportevents mögt, werdet ihr Baseball Spiele in LA lieben. Die Atmosphäre im Stadion der LA Dodgers ist einfach schon einzigartig, aber seid gewarnt: die Hotdogs sind nicht so gut wie alle immer sagen. Zumindest war meiner ziemlich schlecht :(

If you like watching sports events, you'll love baseball games in LA. Especially the atmosphere in the LA Dodgers Stadium is stunning, but be warned: the hot dogs there are not as great as everyone always says they are. At least mine was crap :(

[TV Fashion] So if the chain is on your door I understand

Nur Larissa schafft es ein orange-pinkes Outfit mit lila Lidschatten zu kombinieren und dabei großartig auszusehen... und dieser Ring! // Little Miss Carrie Bradshaw hatte in den 80ern wesentlich mehr Stil als dann später zu Mr. Big Zeiten... Ich liebe dieses Kleid :)

I have to give it to Larissa for being able to pull off a pink and orange outfit with purple eyeshadow... and omg look at that ring! // Little Miss Carrie Bradshaw had much better taste in the 80s than later when Mr Big showed up... I am in love with this dress :)

Leider waren weder Hart of Dixie noch Pretty Little Liars diese Woche fashion-mäßig vorne mit dabei, aber Zoe's erstes Outfit fand ich gar nicht mal so schlecht // Hanna hatte diese Woche das einzig wirklich großartige Outfit an, auch wenn es leider schwierig war ein vernünftiges Foto davon zu machen... das Kleid ist einfach bezaubernd

Neither Hart of Dixie nor Pretty Little Liars were very interesting this week - of course only fashion-wise - but Zoe's first outfit was kinda cute // Out of all of the liars Hanna was the only one whose outfit I loved this week... that dress is simply beautiful 

Victoria zeigt wie man sich dem Alter entsprechend kleiden und dabei absolut makellos aussehen kann // Da Emily gerade in mehr Bademänteln als Kleidern rumrennt, musste ihre kleine Schwester übernehmen und trug dieses unglaublich tolle Kleid mit einer Clutch, die ich ihr am liebsten durch den Bildschirm geklaut hätte // Margaux ist eigentlich immer sehr schlicht aber zeitlos gekleidet und was kann man in einem süßen kleinen roten Kleid auch großartig falsch machen?!

Victoria sure knows how to dress age-appropriate and at the same time flawless // Since Emily is currently running around in more bathrobes than dresses, her little sister had to take over and stunned me with this incredibly cute dress and that amazing clutch that I need like right now! // Margaux's style is very simple but what could go wrong in a red dress?!

So Coachella is officially over for this year, but we got to see some really great outfits again this year! I have to say I love festival season... it's so different and people wear these really cool, crazy outfits that I would usually never wear but totally love. I've sadly never been to a festival but I've been begging my best friends to take me to one this year!! My favorite outfits this year were Lucy Hale's cute floral romper and Julianne Hough's simple but cool blouse + ripped jeans combo. But I also totally love AnnaSophia Robb's sunglasses and Diane Kruger's shorts. My favorite photo, however, is the one of Ashley Benson and Tyler Blackburn... yay looks like Hanna and Caleb are also an item in real life ♥ Which outfit do you love the most?

Coachella ist offiziell vorbei für dieses Jahr, aber es gab mal wieder eine Menge cooler Outfits zu sehen! Ich muss gestehen, dass ich die Festival Saison immer ziemlich cool find... alles ist irgendwie so anders dort und die Leute tragen diese coolen, verrückten Outfits, die ich nie im normalen Alltag tragen würde, aber super toll finde. Leider war ich selber noch nie auf einem Festival, bin aber schon die ganze Zeit dabei meine Freunde anzuflehen mich dieses Jahr vielleicht mal irgendwohin mitzunehmen!! Meine Lieblingsoutfits dieses Jahr waren das von Lucy Hale und das von Julianne Hough. Aber die Sonnenbrille von AnnaSophia Robb und die Hose von Diane Kruger find ich auch absolut haben-wollen-mäßig. Jedoch ist mein Lieblingsfoto keins von denen, sondern das von Ashley Benson und Tyler Blackburn.... sieht wohl so aus als wären Hanna und Caleb auch im wahren Leben ein Paar ♥ Welches Outfit ist euer Favorit?

[TV Fashion] We're happy free confused and lonely at the same time

Have I mentioned that I love those little hair pieces??!! Obsessed!! Plus, look at the necklace and the retro phone... LOVE  // How you can make purple and pink colors work so well?! Well, I guess that's because she's Carrie Bradshaw ;D // And then again that pink coat and the animal print scarf.. amazing!!

Hab ich schon mal erwähnt, dass ich diese kleinen Hütchen/Haarschmuck Teilchen liebe??!! Und dann auch noch die Kette und das Retro Telefon... LIEBE // Wie kann man bitte lila und pink so gut zusammen tragen?! Das kommt wahrscheinlich davon, dass sie Carrie Bradshaw ist ;D // Und dann auch noch die pinke Jacke und der Leo Schal dazu... hammer!

[Life] On the first page of our story the future seemed so bright

 

Found this on Shay Mitchell's blog today and was just really touched by it. We've probably all been to the point where a person that was once really important to us and a very big part of our life, just walked away and seemed to not even look back. Accepting that this has nothing to do with you, that it's just part of every persons life, is usually the hardest part. And then really letting go is even worse. These past six months have been a letting-go and accepting that Sam's part in my story is over process and the process is probably not completely over yet but I'm getting there. Thankfully I have a lot of other people, who still play a really large part in my story and who make everything a lot easier. 

Are you guys as touched by those words as I am?

Ich hab diesen Spruch heute auf Shay Mitchells Blog gefunden und war davon sehr berührt. Jeder von uns war wahrscheinlich schon mal an dem Punkt in seinem Leben, an dem eine Person, die uns sehr wichtig war und eine große Rolle darin gespielt hat, einfach verschwunden ist - scheinbar sogar ohne großartig traurig darüber zu sein. Zu akzeptieren, dass das nichts mit einem selbst zu tun hat, sondern, dass das einfach zum Leben dazugehört, ist meistens der schwierigste Teil. Und dann auch noch wirklich loszulassen ist sogar noch schlimmer. In den letzten sechs Monaten habe ich diesen loslassen und akzeptieren, dass Sams Teil in meiner Geschichte vorbei ist, Prozess durchlebt und ganz vorbei ist er wohl noch immer nicht, aber es wird. Glücklicherweise habe ich viele anderen tolle Leute, die einen großen Teil meiner Geschichte ausmachen und die alles sehr viel einfacher machen.

Haben euch die Worte so sehr berührt wie mich?
