[Travel] But you were never a saint and I've loved in shades of wrong

Wie ihr wisst war ich letztes Wochenende in Berlin und normalerweise kriegt ihr ja immer einen kleinen Reisebericht von mir, wenn ich meine Heimat verlasse, jedoch macht das bei Berlin wahrscheinlich wenig Sinn, da sich viele von euch in Berlin besser auskennen werden als ich ;) Trotzdem wollte ich euch ein paar meiner Lieblingsfotos nicht vorenthalten besonders von dem lang ersehnten Taylor Swift Konzert :) Alle nicht-Taylor-Swift-Fans werden wahrscheinlich gerade die kompletten Bilder übersprungen haben, aber das ist vollkommen in Ordnung :D Ich verzeihe euch ;)

As you guys should know by now, I spent the last weekend in Berlin and you usually get a small travel post whenever I leave my hometown, but I believe that there are a lot of people who know so much more about Berlin than I do, so I'll leave that to them ;) Still, I wanted to show you some of my favorite photos especially from the long-anticipated Taylor Swift concert :) I guess every not-Taylor-Swift-fan just skipped through all the photos above, but that's okay :D I forgive you ;)

Vielleicht interessiert euch aber, dass Ed Sheeran als Special Guest dabei war ;) Mein bester Freund hasst mich ja seitdem ich ihm das Foto vom Konzert geschickt hab :D Auch wenn wir ihn im Juni auf Southside eh nochmal live erleben werden.

However, maybe you guys would like to know that Ed Sheeran was Taylor's special guest ;) My best friend hates me ever since I sent him this picture even though we will get to see him again at Southside in June ;)

Abgesehen vom Konzert am Freitag und der LB Films Party am Samstag hatten wir auch am Sonntag einen wundervollen Tag besonders weil das Wetter so toll mitgespielt hat :) Vormittags sind wir vom Alexanderplatz bis zum Reichstag gelaufen und danach sind wir noch in den Zoo. Dabei sind diese paar Bilder noch entstanden. Okay ja das war jetzt ein extrem fotolastiger Post, aber ich hoffe euch hats gefallen :)

Apart from the concert on Friday and the LB films party on Saturday, we also had a really lovely Sunday especially thanks to the weather :) In the morning we walked from the Alexanderplatz to the Reichstag and afterwards we decided to head to the zoo. That's when these photos were taken. I know this post mostly contained photos, but I hope you still liked it :)

[OOTD] It's not where you come from, it's where you belong

Heute zeig ich euch anlässlich meiner "Berlin" Woche, was ich auf der Feier von LB Films getragen hab. Im Nachhinein waren wir alle drei etwas underdressed, aber es gab zum Glück trotzdem genügend Leute, die auch nicht über sexy oder über chic gekleidet waren und so sind wir nicht negativ aufgefallen ;) Mein Outfit war etwas "Belles"-inspired falls ihr wisst was ich meine ;) Diesmal nicht ganz so Zoe Hart, sondern mehr Lemon Breeland, aber auch das muss mal sein :D Ich liebe das Kleid aber total und werde es denk ich in meiner Freizeit auch noch oft genug tragen können.

Today I would like to show you what I wore to the LB films party in Berlin. I have to admit that all three of us were a little underdressed, but thankfully there were a lot of other people who also didn't show up overly sexy or elegant so we got in without people staring at us ;) My outfit was a little "Belles"-inspired if you know what I mean ;) Not so Zoe Hart this time, more Lemon Breeland, but everyone needs to be a little Lemonade every once in a while :D I totally love my dress though and can't wait to wear it again!

Außerdem wollte ich euch wissen lassen, dass es 'Kiss From a Rose' nun auch auf Facebook gibt und ich würde mich sehr freuen wenn die/der eine oder andere von euch meine Seite liked :)

[Event] No peace shall I find until you come back and be mine

Seit gestern bin ich wieder zurück aus Berlin und möchte nun anfangen euch zu zeigen, was ich dort so gemacht habe. Am Samstag waren wir nämlich auf der 10 Jahres Feier von LB Films anlässlich der Berlinale und davon möchte ich nun zuerst berichten. Ich hatte ein bisschen gehofft, dass zumindest ein internationaler Superstar auftauchen würde, denn schließlich war es ein rundes Jubiläum und es befanden sich zu dem Zeitpunkt so viele Stars in der Hauptstadt, dass doch zumindest einer davon den Weg zu dieser Feier hätte finden können - aber nope war wohl nix ;) Außer Soapstars und Dschungelcamp Kandidaten war nicht viel da :D Trotzdem war es ganz lustig das alles mal live mitzuerleben und es gab kostenlose Getränke und eigentlich auch kostenloses Essen, auch wenn davon leider nicht allzu viel da war... denn außer Donuts, Eis und einem (ja einem für circa 2000 Gäste) Currywurst Stand war nichts essbares da, aber dafür, dass das alles kostenlos für uns war, war das schon in Ordnung und Donuts machen schließlich auch satt :D

I came back from Berlin yesterday and would like to show you now what I did while I was there. On Saturday we attended the 10 year anniversary party of LB films and that's the first thing I would like to tell you about. I had sort of hoped that some international celebrities would show up at the party since so many were in the capital due to the Berlinale - but nope that didn't happen ;) Apart from German soap stars and D-List celebrites from the German version of "I'm a celebrity... get me out of here", there were really no actual celebrities there. It was still fun to be a part of that whole scene for a night and the drinks and food were free - even though the food only consisted of donuts, ice cream and German currywurst :D 

Am Schluss gab es dann eine Goodie Bag, die ich eigentlich auch an euch verlosen wollte, aber der Inhalt besteht hauptsächlich aus Zigaretten und Anti-Aging Cremes :D Nee im Ernst, ich war leider etwas enttäuscht vom Inhalt und klar könnte ich eine verlosen, denn ich hab noch eine übrig, aber ich weiß nicht ob ihr so viel mehr damit anfangen könnt als ich... also falls ihr sie doch gerne gewinnen würdet, könnt ihr mich das gerne wissen lassen, aber ansonsten werde ich die Anti-Aging Cremes an meine Mama verschenken und die Zigaretten in den Müll werfen ;)

Before we left we picked up our goodie bags and I actually got an extra one, since I wanted to give it away to you guys, but the content is sadly not that interesting :D It mainly contain cigarettes and anti-aging creams so I'm not really sure whether you actually want it... if you do wanna have, please let me now, if you don't then I'll just give the anti aging creams to my mom and throw the cigarettes away ;)

Ich freu mich schon wahnsinnig auf dieses Wochenende :) Morgen gehts nach Berlin und ich bleibe bis Sonntag Abend dort, also nicht wundern wenn ihr währenddessen nichts von mir hört. Morgen ist dann auch endlich das langersehnte Taylor Swift Konzert in der O2 World Arena dran und am Samstag werde ich bei der 10 Jahres Feier von LB Films im Intercontinental Hotel dabei sein. Ist noch jemand von euch bei einem der beiden Events am Start? Oder was habt ihr für Pläne für das kommende Wochenende?

I'm really exited for this upcoming weekend :) I'm heading to Berlin tomorrow and staying there until Sunday. Tomorrow is also the day when I'll finally get to see Taylor Swift perform live at the O2 World Arena and on Saturday I'll be at the 10 year anniversary party of LB films at the Intercontinental Hotel. 1. Wie kommst du zur Schule/Arbeit? 
Ich studiere und wohne quasi fast auf dem Campus also lauf ich zu meinen Vorlesungen ;)

1. How do you get to school/work?
I'm a college student and my apartment is almost on campus so I walk to my classes ;)


2. Deine Lieblingsfarbe
Pink! Es gibt keine andere Farbe, die mich und mein Leben besser beschreibt :D

Pink! There's no other color that describes me and my life better :D


3. Winter oder Sommer?
Defintiv Sommer. Ich liebe den Winter, aber nur für genau einen Monat im Jahr und das ist der Dezember und die 11 Monate davor hätte ich eigentlich gerne durchgehend so 25°C.

Definitly summer. I love winter, but only for one month every year and that would have to be december. I prefer about 25°C during the rest of the year. 


4. Trägst du Ketten oder Armbänder lieber?
Ketten, also eigentlich besser gesagt Statement Ketten. Armbänder nerven mich auf Dauer immer eher.

4. Do you prefer wearing necklaces or bracelets?
Necklaces, especially statement necklaces. I tend to get really annoyed by bracelets. 


5. Dein Lieblingsfilm?
Nur mit dir. Irgendwie schon seit 10 Jahren oder so, aber in den letzten Jahren schafft es "Wie ein einziger Tag" immer mehr auf eine Höhe mit "Nur mit dir" zu kommen. Aber ja man merkt eindeutig meine Vorliebe für Nicholas Sparks Filme und Bücher ;)

5. What's your favorite movie?
A walk to remember. It's actually been my favorite movie for the past 10 years, but "The Notebook" is starting to catch up the older I get. Well I guess you can tell that I have a thing for Nicholas Sparks books and movies ;)


6. Willst du Kinder?
Ja, am liebsten 2 oder 3. Aber erst mit 30 oder so und ich würde eigentlich auch gerne ein Kind adoptieren.

6. Do you wanna have children?
Yes, probably about 2 or 3. But not anytime before I'm 30 and I would like to adopt a child as well. 


7. Dein teuerstes Kleidungsstück oder Beautyprodukt?
Ich denke meine Prada Stiefel. Die habe ich aber auch im Outlet gekauft, also waren sie mit 200€ für Prada dann doch nicht sooo teuer. Aber normalerweise lege ich nicht viel wert auf Marken, sondern eher darauf, dass es mir gefällt und da sich mein Geschmack eh regelmäßig ändert, lohnt es sich auch meistens nicht sonderlich viel Geld für ein Teil auszugeben.

7. What is the most expensive clothing item or beauty product that you own?
Probably my Prada shoes. However, I did buy them in an outlet store so they weren't as expensive as I thought Prada was gonna be. I usually don't care about brand names on my clothes, especially because my clothing taste changes a lot and it just usally doesn't make a lot of sense to spend a lot of money on one piece. 


8. Wo willst du gerne einmal hin verreisen?
Da gibt es noch einige Orte, die auf meiner Liste stehen. In Europa und Nord-Amerika habe ich inzwischen eigentlich so gut wie alles gesehen, was mich wirklich interessiert hat. Dafür möchte ich als nächstes anfangen die anderen Kontinente zu erkunden. Ganz oben stehen u.a. Australien, Südafrika, Bali, Thailand, uvm. Einen Traum von mir nämlich Brasilien werde ich mir wahrscheinlich Ende des Jahres erfüllen, aber davon werde ich demnächst noch berichten. Oben seht ihr aber schon einmal ein Bild von der Stadt, in der ich die meiste Zeit in Brasilien verbringen werde. Weiß jemand welche Stadt das ist? ;) In den nächsten 3 Monaten stehen aber erstmal Berlin, Istanbul und London an :)

9. What places would you like to visit someday?
There are still so many places I wanna go to. I've seen most of the things I always wanted to see in Europe and North-America, but now I'd like to explore the rest of the world. Australia, South Africa, Bali and Thailand are some of the places that are at the top of my list and one of my biggest dreams is probably going to come true at the end of this year. I'm heading to Brasil! Well probably ;) As soon as I know more, I'll let you guys know. However, I've already added a photo of the city I'll be spending most of my time in Brasil in at the top of this post. Does anyone know what city it is? For now, I'll be heading to Berlin, Istanbul and London within the next 3 months :)


9. Dein Lieblingsbeautyprodukt?
Ich glaube das ist mein Concealer von Amazing Cosmetics.

10. Schaust du Youtubevideos? Wenn ja von wem am liebsten?
Also am allermeisten nutze ich Youtube um die Promos für die nächste Folge von meinen Lieblingsserien anzuschauen :D Ansonsten schau ich eigentlich am liebsten alle Videos von "The Ellen Show" an, ich finde es gibt einfach keine großartigerere Talkshow Moderatorin!

10. Do you ever watch youtube videos? And if yes what kind?
I usually use youtube to watch the promos for my favorite TV shows :D Otherwise, I normally watch a lot of clips from "The Ellen Show". I just love Ellen Degeneres!!


11. Vor was hast du Angst?
Meine größte Angst sind leider Spritzen. Und das ist nicht nur ein bisschen: "oh nein ich hab Angst", sondern richtige Panik und es ist auch wirklich eine Kunst mich da ruhig zu kriegen... ich hab jetzt schon Angst vor den Spritzen, die ich dann für Brasilien kriegen muss O_O

11. What are you afraid of?
My biggest fear are needles. And it's not the kind of "oh no I need to get a shot", but really bad panic attacks and it's really difficult to get me to calm down if I see a needle... I'm already freaking out about the shots that I have to get when I'm heading off to Brasil.

[Travel] California here we come right back where we started from

Von meiner ersten Woche in LA hatte ich ja bereits berichtet, nun folgt hier der zweite Teil. An meinem zweiten Wochenende in LA fanden die Teen Choice Awards statt  und als Hardcore Glee und Pretty Little Liars Fan musste ich natürlich dabei sein ;) Falls ihr überhaupt nicht promi-interessiert seid dann überspringt den folgenden Teil einfach :D

I already told you about my first week in LA and this is now the second part. The Teen Choice Awards took place during my second weekend in LA and as a hardcore Glee and Pretty Little Liars fan I had to buy a ticket. If you're not interested in celebrities at all, it would be best if you just skipped the next part :D

OMG wo soll ich nur anfangen?! Wahrscheinlich am besten mit dem ersten Foto. Bevor die Show überhaupt angefangen hatte hab ich eine Horde Mädels gesehen, die um einen jungen Typen rumstanden und als ich gecheckt hab wer er ist bin ich vielleicht ein kleines bisschen ausgeflippt :D Der Typ war Brendan Robinson, der Lucas bei Pretty Little Liars spielt! Er war echt unglaublich nett und ich konnte mich sogar kurz mit ihm unterhalten und dann hat er auch noch ein Foto mit mir gemacht :D Haha oh Gott ich sollte aufhören so ein Fangirl zu sein, ich bin schließlich nicht mehr 13 :D Also zurück zum eigentlichen Geschehen... okay nein das geht grad auch noch nicht, denn das nächste Foto zeigt One Direction :D Ja ich gebe es zu, ich bin 21 und liebe die Musik von One Direction und ja ihr dürft mich gerne deswegen verarschen ;) Der eigentliche Grund wieso ich aber $150 für die Karte ausgegeben hab, war, dass ich unbedingt die Schauspieler aus Glee und Pretty Little Liars sehen wollte und ich wurde zum Glück nicht enttäuscht. Die Liars waren wirklich alle da und dann kam Lea Michele auch noch das erste Mal nach Cory Monteiths Tod auf die Bühne und ja der ganze Saal hat geheult und ich wahrscheinlich am allermeisten. Die Show wurde auch noch von Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) und Darren Criss (Glee) moderiert also hab ich mein Geld wirklich gut angelegt ;) Natürlich will ich euch auch nicht vorenthalten was ich zu diesem besonderen Anlass getragen habe und es ist dasselbe Kleid, das ich auch nächsten Freitag zum Taylor Swift Konzert anziehen werde.

OMG where should I start?! Probably the first picture. So before the show even started I saw a bunch of girls standing around a young guy and when I realized who it was I freaked out :D It was Brendan Robinson, who plays Lucas on Pretty Little Liars. So I ended up talking to him and he was kind enough to take a picture with me and oh my he was really sweet :D Okay I have to end the fangirling :D Back to business... Okay not really possible when the second picture shows One Direction :D So yeah I'll admit it I love their music. But the actual reasons why I spent $150 on the ticket was that I wanted to see the cast of Pretty Little Liars and Glee and I was not disappointed. All my favorite Liars were there and then Lea Michele made her first public appearance after Cory Monteith's death and yes everyone was crying including myself. The show was also hosted by two of my favorite people Lucy Hale (PLL) and Darren Criss (Glee) so yes it was worth every penny. And of course you want to know what I wore to that special occasion and it's the same dress that I'll be wearing to the Taylor Swift Concert next friday ;)

Am nächsten Abend wollten wir uns den Sonnenuntergang anschauen und dafür gibt es in LA wirklich keinen schöneren Ort als das Griffith Observatory (nein nicht mal den Strand, denn um den schönsten Sonnenuntergang am Strand zu erleben müsst ihr runter nach San Diego fahren, aber dazu später mehr ;) ). Von hier aus hat man den schönsten Blick auf die ganze Stadt und natürlich auch auf das Hollywood Sign. Das Planetarium drinnen fand ich nicht sooo spannend, aber da der Eintritt kostenlos ist, lohnt es sich schon mal reinzuschauen.

The next evening we decided to watch the sunset and there is really no better place in LA (not even the beach, you have to go to San Diego to get to most stunning beach sunset but I'll talk about that a little later on) than the Griffith Observatory. You get the most amazing view of the whole city from here and of course also of the Hollywood sign. The planetarium inside didn't wow me as much, but since it's free you should definitly at least walk in.

Eine Sache, die in unbedingt in LA machen wollte, war mal wieder zu einem Baseball Spiel zu gehen. Während meiner Kindheit in den USA war ich ein rießen Baltimore Orioles Fan und war auch mit meinen Eltern einmal im Stadion bei einem Spiel dabei. Dieses Mal durfte ich dann in LA meiner zweit Lieblings Mannschaft den LA Dodgers bei einem Spiel zuschauen und es war einfach ein unglaublich tolles Erlebnis. Das Stadion in LA ist auch immer voll mit Promis, also wenn ihr Glück habt sitzt ihr plötzlich neben eurem Lieblingsschauspieler ;)

One of the things that I was personally really exited about was that I got to the see a Dodgers baseball game. During my childhood in Pennsylvania I loved baseball so much and even got to see my favorite team ever - the Baltimore Orioles - play. So now going back into a baseball stadium and seeing my second favorite team play was such an amazing experience. Also, the stadium is always full of celebrities so if you're lucky you might end up sitting next to your favorite actor or singer.

Nach dem Baseball Spiel haben wir dann noch einen kleinen Stopp bei Diddy Riese in Westwood eingelegt, um uns eins der absolut großartigsten - und günstigsten - Ice Cream Sandwiches zu kaufen. Leider liebt diese jeder in Westwood und deswegen darf man sich schon mal eine halbe Stunde vorm Laden anstellen um eins zu kaufen, aber die sind es definitiv wert ;)

After the baseball game we headed to Diddy Riese in Westwood, which serves the best - and cheapest - ice cream sandwiches I've ever had! Since everyone in Westwood knows how great they are, you usually have to wait about half an hour to get into the store, but it's totally worth the wait ;) 

LA Tipps: 

#7 Award Shows
Natürlich sind Award Shows nicht sonderlich günstig, aber gerade wenn man so promi-fanatisch ist wie ich, dann sollte man sich so ein Event nicht entgehen lassen. Die Haupt Awardshow Zeit ist eigentlich jetzt gerade im Januar und Februar, aber es gibt auch weitere wichtige Shows, die erst später im Jahr stattfinden z.B. die Emmys oder die Teen Choice Awards.

Well yes they're usually expensive, but especially if you're a celebrity addict like I am you have to get tickets to an award show in LA. The main award show season is actually right now in January and February, but there are also important ones like the Emmys or the Teen Choice Awards that take place later on during the year.

#8 Griffith Observatory
Der perfekte Zeitpunkt um zum Griffith Observatory zu fahren ist kurz bevor die Sonne anfängt unterzugehen. So kriegt man noch tolle Bilder während die Sonne scheint, aber dann direkt auch mit dem Sonnenuntergang und dann in der kompletten Dunkelheit. Seid nicht zu spät oder zu früh dran, ihr werdet es nur bereuen ;)

You have to get there right before the sun starts to set, so you can take pictures while the sun is still shining, then while it's setting and then when it's actually really dark. Don't show up too soon or too late - you'll only regret it ;)

#9 LA Dodgers
Falls ihr Sportevents mögt, werdet ihr Baseball Spiele in LA lieben. Die Atmosphäre im Stadion der LA Dodgers ist einfach schon einzigartig, aber seid gewarnt: die Hotdogs sind nicht so gut wie alle immer sagen. Zumindest war meiner ziemlich schlecht :(

If you like watching sports events, you'll love baseball games in LA. Especially the atmosphere in the LA Dodgers Stadium is stunning, but be warned: the hot dogs there are not as great as everyone always says they are. At least mine was crap :(
