[Travel] Come stop your crying it will be alright

First thing I wanna say: it didn't rain! I was really surprised cause the last time I visited Hamburg it just rained all the time (I had never seen that much rain in my life before!!) and that's why I didn't really like the city until now. But although it was freezing cold and it sometimes even snowed this time, I really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. It's not the typical "tourist-city" so there are not thaaatt many famous buildings or anything like that to see, but the harbor and the "Alster" are really nice (I guess especially when the weathers actually good) and Hamburg is a great place to go shopping.
But let me just start with day one: so we started our first day in Hamburg by visiting Altona, which is basically a nice little district a couple of tube stations away from the train station. They have a really nice town hall there (first picture) and there's a pretty fountain in front of it (second picture). Also, the view over the harbor is amazing from Altona! We also went to a vintage-shop called Kleidermarkt in Altona, which was - even though we didn't buy anything - a really fun experience for us, because we don't have anything like that where we live. Afterwards we met with our aunt and uncle and had lunch with them at this chinese/vietnamese/something place that isn't really worth mentioning. And then we got ready for the actual reason why we had decided to drive to Hamburg... Tarzan! Well now we know that we could have just waited til November and driven to Stuttgart, cause that's where they're gonna show it after it closes in Hamburg, but at the time we booked our little trip we only knew that it would end in Hamburg in summer. Well, since Hamburg is a cool place to go it was definitly still worth it ;) And yes, Tarzan is amaazziinng! I can totally recommend it to anyone! One of the best musicals I've ever seen (it was my twelfth :D) I ended the evening by going to the Grazia and H&M Shopping Night (post >here<) by myself, because my cousin was too tired, but it was still fun!

Erstmal vorneweg: es hat nicht geregnet! Ich war wirklich überrascht, weil das letzte Mal, das ich in Hamburg war, hat der Himmel wirklich eimerweise Wasser auf uns geschüttet (sowas hatte ich davor noch nie gesehen!!) und dementsprechend war ich nicht sonderlich begeistert von der Stadt. Aber obwohl es diesmal wirklich arschkalt war und auch immer mal wieder geschneit hat, hats mir diesmal wirklich gefallen und ich kann kaum erwarten bald wieder hinzufahren! Es ist eben nicht so eine typische "Touristen-Stadt", es gibt einfach nicht so viele berühmte Gebäude oder so, aber der Hafen und die Alster sind wirklich schön (ich denke mal bei schönem Wetter besonders) und man kann wirklich toll shoppen gehen. 
Aber ich fang mal bei Tag 1 an: wir sind erstmal nach Altona gefahren und haben uns dort das wirklich wunderschöne Rathaus und den Brunnen vorm Rathaus angeschaut und sind dann runter an den Hafen gelaufen. Die Aussicht von dort ist wirklich atemberaubend! Außerdem waren wir in Altona noch im Vintage Laden Kleidermarkt, was für uns wirklich ein rießen Highlight war, weil wir einfach aus einer Kleinstadt kommen, in der es nichts in der Richtung gibt. Danach waren wir mit unserer Tante und unserem Onkel bei einem chinesen/vietnamesen/irgendwas essen, aber der Laden war nicht weiter erwähnenswert. Und dann haben wir uns für das chic gemacht, weshalb wir eigentlich unserem kompletten Hamburg Trip geplant hatten... Tarzan! Ja, inzwischen wissen wir, dass wir nicht den weiten Weg bis nach Hamburg hätten fahren müssen, da das Musical ja ab November in Stuttgart läuft und das wär wesentlich näher gewesen, aber das wussten wir zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung noch nicht. Naja, es hat sich trotzdem gelohnt, weil Hamburg auch wirklich immer einen Besuch wert ist (wenn das Wasser nicht gerade eimerweise auf einen draufgeschüttet wird :D). Achja und Tarzan war wirklich großartig!!! Kann ich jedem nur empfehlen! Eins der besten Musicals, die ich je gesehen hab (und es war bereits mein zwölftes :D). Mein Abend hat dann mit der Grazia und H&M Shopping Nacht (post >hier<) geendet, wobei ich dort alleine war, weil meine Cousine nach dem Musical bereits zu müde war.

Since we spent our second day shopping, we didn't take a lot of pictures. Just one of the city hall and one of the Hamburger Dom (the largest fair in Northern Germany), but we only spent about three minutes on the fair, because it was too cold. We had dinner at Mama Trattoria, which is only a few minutes away from the city hall. I can only warn you about the beverage prices there... I payed 5€ for a 0.4l soft drink! The food was fine though just a little too much for us ;D

Den zweiten Tag haben wir haupstächlich für Shopping genutzt. Von daher gibt es nur ein Bild vom Rathaus und vom Hamburger Dom (das größe Volksfest Norddeutschlands), auf dem wir aber nur ca. 3 Minuten waren, weil uns einfach zu kalt war. Abends waren wir dann noch bei Mama Trattoria in der Nähe vom Rathaus essen, aber ich kann euch nur empfehlen bei den Getränken sehr vorsichtig zu sein, da ich für eine 0,4l Spezi 5€ gezahlt habe. Ansonsten war das Essen eigentlich gut, aber die Portionen waren uns zu groß :D

Our last day in Hamburg was again very cold and also a holiday in Germany, which meant that all shops were closed. So we walked through the old warehouse district (the so-called Speicherstadt) and the harbor city and then went to a coffee place called Speicherstadt Kaffee and had a Latte Macchiato (they have really good coffee there). Afterwards, we drove the "tropenaquarium" (part of the zoo) which was pretty cool but we had sort of hoped that there would be bigger sharks and possibly even dolphins there, but nope... we didn't go to the actual zoo, because it was too cold and most of the animals woulnd't have been outside anyways. At the end of day we sat down in our hostel and waited until our bus drove home again ;)

Am letzten Tag war es leider wieder unglaublich kalt und dazu war auch noch Karfreitag, also hatten alle Geschäfte zu. Das heißt wir sind zuerst ein bisschen durch die Speicherstadt und die Hafen City gelaufen und waren dann bei Speicherstadt Kaffee einen Latte Macchiato trinken (kann ich jedem nur empfehlen! sehr leckerer Kaffee!) Danach waren wir noch im Tropenaquarium, was eig ganz cool war, aber wir hatten uns ein bisschen mehr davon erhofft und ein paar größere Haie und eventuell sogar Delfine... gabs aber leider nicht. In den Tierpark wollten wir dann nicht mehr, weils einfach zu kalt war und die meisten Tiere wahrscheinlich sowieso nicht draußen gewesen wären. Zum Schluss haben wir uns eigentlich nur noch ins Hostel gesetzt und darauf gewartet, dass unser Bus wieder heimfährt ;)
