So day 3 basically consisted of shopping, cooking and walking through chinatown while the rain was pouring down on us :D We went to Primark, Topshop, River Island, Zara, Berschka... well the typical places on Oxford Street (here's what I bought >click<). Afterwards we decided to cook pasta together and then we actually wanted to go to a pub in Soho or Chinatown, but it was so crowded everywhere and we were soaking wet after a few meters so we decided to go back to our apartment and have drinks there. Also, London's chinatown is not as big as we had imagined so we were also a little disappointed. Not a very eventful day, but I guess a "shopping-day" never is ;)
Tag 3 bestand hauptsächlich aus Shopping, Kochen und durch Chinatown im strömenden Regen laufen :D Wir waren im Primark, Topshop, River Island, Zara, Berschka... halt überall wo man so in der Oxford Street reingeht (hier könnt ihr sehen was ich gekauft hab >click<). Danach haben wir zusammen Pasta gekocht und wollten dann eigentlich in einen Pub in Soho oder Chinatown, aber es war überall gerammelt voll und wir waren bereits nach ein paar Metern komplett durchnässt, also sind wir zurück zum Apartment und haben dort noch was getrunken. Dazu kam, dass Londons Chinatown nicht so groß ist, wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten und deshalb waren wir alle ein wenig enttäuscht. Es war insgesamt also kein besonders ereignisreicher Tag, aber ein typischer "Shopping-Tag" ist das ja eigentlich nie ;)
Tag 4 oder 17. März 2013 oder... St Patrick's Day! Ja, wir haben wirklich St Patrick's Day in London verbracht und konnten uns die große Parade am Picadilly Circus anschauen. Summer und ich hatten bereits grüne Perücken in Deutschland gekauft (letztes Bild) und dann waren wir so ziemlich die einzigen mit grünen Perücken und andere Touristen haben dann angefangen Bilder von uns zu machen! Haha, ja das war schon witzig, aber leider war die Parade nicht so toll wie wir gehofft hatten, weil einige LKWs einfach leer waren und viele Gruppen unverkleidet mitgelaufen sind. Da hab ich hier in Deutschland wirklich schon bessere Faschings Paraden gesehen.
We spent our last couple of hours in London at an Italian restaurant (Azurro) which is right beside the Waterloo station. It was actually a really nice place and they had a special lunch offer where you only had to pay 8£ for any pasta or pizza dish and a soft drink. I had pasta with a tomato sauce and shrimps and it was maybe the best I've ever had even though they could have served a larger portion (the pizzas had a really good size though). Before leaving the city we headed into the Waterloo station and got donuts and filled donuts. Since Waterloo was basically our London song (we sang it everytime a sign said waterloo) it was the perfect ending to a perfect (but too short) vacation ♥
Die letzten paar Stunden in London haben wir in einem italienischen Restaurant (Azurro), das sich direkt neben dem Eingang zur Waterloo Station befindet, verbracht. Es war eigentlich wirklich ein schönes Restaurant und die hatten ein Mittagsangebot, bei dem man for 8£ eine Portion Pasta oder eine Pizza plus ein Softdrink bekommen hat. Ich hab Pasta mit Tomatensauce und Shrimps gegessen und das war vielleicht die beste Sauce, die ich je gegessen hab nur leider war die Portion ein bisschen klein (die Pizzen hatten die perfekte Größe). Bevor wir dann die Stadt verlassen haben, haben wir uns in der Waterloo Station noch Donuts und Krapfen gekauft. Da Waterloo quasi unser London Lied war (haben wir immer gesungen, wenn auf einem Schild Waterloo stand) war das das perfekte Ende von einem perfekten (aber zu kurzen) Urlaub ♥

#9 Soho & Chinatown
Always worth visiting, but there are bigger and nicer chinatowns in other cities... Also if you want to go to a nice pub try it somewhere else! The ones in Soho are all pretty crowded in the evenings so you'll have more fun if you go to e.g. Notting Hill
Defintiv immer einen Besuch wert, aber es gibt größere und schönere Chinatowns in anderen Städten... Außerdem solltet ihr woanders hingehen wenn ihr Abends in einen schönen Pub wollte, da die in Soho meist ziemlich voll sind. Probierts dann lieber in z.B. Notting Hill.
#10 St Patrick's Day Parade
If you're in the city anyways, then it is defintily worth a small visit, but you'll probably not stay for a very long time, because it's really not that spectacular. Also, try not to stand directly at the entrance of a tube station cause it's always really crowded there and then there are spots further along the parade that are almost completely empty.
Falls ihr eh in der Stadt seid, dann lohnt es sich defintiv die zumindest mal kurz anzuschauen, aber lange bleiben werdet ihr wahrscheinlich nicht, da sie wirklich nicht so spektakulär ist. Außerdem solltet ihr versuchen euch nicht direkt an den Eingang von einer U-Bahn Haltestelle zu stellen, denn da sind immer die meisten Leute. Wenn man die Straßen dann ein Stück entlang der Parade weiterläuft, kommen meistens Abschnitte wo kaum jemand steht.

Schönes italienisches Restaurant neben der Waterloo Station. Hat ein besonderes Mittagsangebot bei dem man nur 8£ für eine Portion Pasta oder eine Pizza plus ein Softdrink zahlt.
